About us
WHAT IS WUDC?
The World Universities Debate Championship is an academic traveling tournament inaugurated in January 1981 when hosted by Glasgow University Union. Since then, it has dramatically grown, being able to host over 400 teams representing more than 380 universities from around the globe.
Debating in Panama
The debate community in Panama has been competing at the national and international level for more than 25 years. British Parliamentary, however, has been a relatively new concept, introduced in 2014 by the first Panamanians to ever break at CMUDE Mexico (Spanish Worlds).
